#109: Hedwigs Got An Angry Inch

In this episode, the boys close out pride month with a palate cleanser from last week's show, John Cameron Mitchell's 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch.' A combination of rock opera, out of control vanity project and underground late 90s to early 2000s indie filmmaking that's loved world wide, yet we are a little more mixed unfortunately. Also talk of 1960s communism, the strange world the musical as a genre and medium and the impending vibe shift away from fascism that's taking hold.

#108: Mysterious Skindred

In this episode, the boys celebrate Pride Month the darkest way possible. By talking about Gregg Araki's 2004 masterpiece 'Mysterious Skin.' A very hard movie to watch, and even harder movie to degust. Buckle up for one of the harshest episodes we've ever done. Also talk of the predator's sixth sense, the ways different people deal with trauma and how most normal people only care about the suffering of marginalized groups once the horror shows up at their front door.

#107: New Vegas 2/2 - Mr House's Habitual Hubris

In this episode, the boys close out New Vegas proper by returning to the Amazon television show's second season, a fair more fleshed out and more New Vegas coded entry. Maybe video game adaptions can be good after all? Also talk of how CEOs have replaced government, the self destructive nature of American Era of Stagnation, and the Sham Wow Guy's attempt to run for office.  

#106: New Vegas 1/2 - Counting Or Not Counting Raider Violence

In this episode, the boys return to the world of video games and Todd Howard to cover the best of the Fallout series, because he had nothing to do with it. Fallout: New Vegas. A game all about the end of the world and how to have the best time while everything falls apart, also giant bugs! Plus talk of some of our favorite 2010s video games and cultural trends, the vast amount of content this game has for a rushed side project, why so many RPGs feel like they leave out the player and how this game has aged now given how awful things have gotten since it's release. 

#105: Gamer Occupied Government

In this episode, the boys go full Monster Energy chud and cover the 2009 flop 'Gamer.' The peak of dumb guy satire and the fact by total accident, is probably going to be massive cult favorite in the years to come given how stupid everything is the 17 years since it's release. Also talk of UK elections, how everyone wants to kill the American president, the failed promises of modern technology and how everything is now just porn.

#104: Man-children of Men

In this episode, the boys sink their teeth into one of the 21st century's greatest dystopian texts, 'Children of Men.' Both the 2006 film and the 1992 book, and while both capture very different tones, styles and themes. They feel even more relevant and horrifying of our 2026 reality. Also talk of the ongoing war/oil crisis, mid 2000s genre cinema, zombie liberalism and trying finding something to live for as the wider world descends further into nihilism.

In this episode the boys honor the life of action star and internet meme Chuck Norris, taking a look back at his filmography, his awful politics and political endorsements, and how he's crucial in creating the baby boomer made hell we all live in now.
